លោក Siripong ត្រូវបានតែងតាំងជាអ្នកនាំពាក្យរដ្ឋាភិបាល

The Cabinet has appointed Siripong Angkasakulkiat, deputy leader of the Bhumjaithai party, as the new government spokesperson.

Siripong currently serves as an MP for Si Sa Ket province, a Bhumjaithai stronghold. He previously held the position of assistant minister and spokesperson for the Education Ministry.

He comes from a political family. His father, Chatmongkol Angkasakulkiat, has served as mayor of Si Sa Ket municipality since 1983, making him the longest-serving mayor in Thailand.

Siripong entered politics in 2005 and was first elected to parliament in 2007, under the now-dissolved Chart Thai Party. Following the party’s dissolution, he faced a five-year political ban.

In 2019, he returned to the political arena as an MP for the Bhumjaithai party and later rose to become the party’s deputy leader.

Known for his strong communication skills, Siripong was an accomplished debater during his high school and university years. His communication style is often described as direct and sincere.
